“Wouter [ʋʌutəʁ] is a fine young man. Born in the East moved to the West to fulfil his destiny in design. He used to aspire to be like Wim Crouwel, but now he knows better. Though his dutch roots he seems to have his own style, a style that’s not bound by any traditional factors like origins, childhood issues or current trends. Some say he doesn’t even know what’s he’s doing. Although, I think he’s playing his role very well. He portrays himself as insecure and unknowing. But in his head he’s determined what to do and what not to do. 

Now, in his work you can see his doubts and reflections on trends and his own position in the playing field that is his work. I’m pretty sure we’ll never hear from him again.”
